Frederick Vincent Knapp

Knapp was an amateur archaeologist, resident in Nelson. His career was as a school master. He had a strong interest in stone tools and his papers in the Journal of the Polynesian Society are predominantly about stone tools from around Nelson.

Knapp's papers are in the Nelson Provincial Museum.
