John Yaldwyn 1929-2005

John was a zoologist with a strong interest in archaeology, participating in research projects and contributing to their publication in respect of the faunal material found. He was a founder member of the New Zealand Archaeological Association. He was the Director of the National Musuem - a predecessor of Te Papa.
