Make a difference to Heritage
This role offers an exciting opportunity to work for the protection of historic heritage through the archaeological provisions of the Heritage New Zealand Pouhere Taonga Act and other statutory tools.
Heritage New Zealand is seeking applications from people with skills and experience in statutory archaeological processes and resource management, together with the ability and confidence to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team and with external stakeholders including archaeological consultants, property owners, local authorities, developers and whanau/hapu/iwi.
The candidate will provide expert archaeological advice to both internal and external stakeholders.
A tertiary qualification in New Zealand Archaeology or equivalent is required.
