This rescue excavation was undertaken by the Historic Places Trust in 1980 in advance of changing an access to a property which disturbed a small remaining section of an inner ditch defence of Mokoia Pa.
The investigator was Sue Bulmer.
One of the Historic Places Trust Prehistory in Auckland brochures was issued about the excavation.
There were no resulting publications.
