This page relates to [[Sites to Visit]] pages, where there are locations shown in inset Google Maps. The locations are approximate only. This is because the registration of the photography used by Google is not precise and features like sites often shift when Google Earth changes the photographic set it is using. Hence the point allocated to the site on the map may be a poor representation of the site location. As well as being of limited accuracy in any event a point within a site is not an adequate indication of the extent of a site.

This page relates to pages, where there are locations shown in inset Google Maps.

This detailed location information here should never be used for heritage management purposes.

Users wanting more accurate location information for this purpose should consult with their local Historic Places Trust Office for advice or consult with a professional archaeologist.
