Keene Collection

Keene Collection - Barry Keene had a private museum in Whangarei. The collection was sold at auction by Dunbar Sloane in Auckland in April 2010. It was described as originating "mainly from the upper North Island, Waikato, Hawkes Bay, Auckland etc".

The material featured bone needles, tattooing chisels, one and two piece fish hooks, many in shell, toggles, perforated teeth and pendants.
