The Catalogue
The collection is one of relatively recent purchases, many from New Zealand auctions. It is of Maori items, predominantly of nephrite including ornaments, clubs and adzes. The number of hei tiki is a particular feature. It is or was an active collection with items being bought and sold. It is remarkable through having a published colour illustrated catalogue [1].

In 2011 Dunbar Sloane successfully offered a collection of the same name for sale by tender for the complete collection.

The collection as catalogued in 2008 was of high quality items, many of which must be pre-colonial.
