Logie.jpg
This collection of Greek, Etruscan, Cypriot, Egyptian and like classical ceramic vessels and other objects is a surprisingly fine one so far from its centre of origin. It is a growing collection. It is housed in Christchurch - now in Level 1 of the former Chemistry Building at 3 Hereford Street, in the historic Christchurch Arts Centre. It houses the Logie collection. The museum was formerly named the Logie Collection and housed at Ilam.

It closed for several years after the Canterbury earthquakes to allow restoration of many damaged pieces and is now again open.
