Brigid Gallagher

Brigid

One time co-presenter on the UK hit TV series Time Team, Brigid is now again resident in New Zealand.

Expert in geomorphology and finds conservation as well as field archaeology, it was always startling to hear her Kiwi accent among the great range of British accents heard on the programme. She often featured clearly explaining the stratigraphic complexities of the trenches she was excavating.

Brigid is a graduate of the University of Auckland. Her business is Mishmish Productions.

Recently she has been the presenter for a series Heritage Rescue - first shown on Choice TV.

Brigid is a strong advocate for local archaeology, e.g.[1].
