Brigid Gallagher

Brigid

One time co-presenter on the UK hit TV series Time Team, Brigid is now again resident in New Zealand. Expert in geomorphology and finds conservation as well as field archaeology, it was always startling to hear her Kiwi accent amongst the great range of British accents heard on the programme. She often featured clearly explaining the stratigraphic complexities of the trenches she was excavating.

Brigid is a graduate of the University of Auckland.

She has a sciblog website: [1]

Through that and other outlets she is a strong advocate for local archaeology, e.g.[1].
