Norfolk Island

Norfolk Island has a history of multiple occupations starting with Polynesians, in the historic period two convict settlements then the resettlement of the Pitcairn Islanders.

The World Heritage listed Kingston site has been the subject of a good deal of archaeology, reinforcing all of the Polynesian visits, the historical record and the surviving buildings and remains from the second convict period.
