This collection of Greek, Etruscan, Cypriot, Egyptian and like classical ceramic vessels and other objects is a surprisingly fine one so far from its centre of origin. It is a growing collection. It is housed in Christchurch - in the Logie Room of the Classics Department of the University of Canterbury.
It is open by appointment and there are regular tours - see the website for details.
