The Kalimantan Collection

Kali.jpg
The collection is one of relatively recent purchases, many from New Zealand auctions. It is of Maori items, predominantly of nephrite including ornaments, clubs and adzes. The number of hei tiki are a particular feature. It is an active collection with items being bought and sold. It is remarkable through having a published colour illustrated catalogue [1].

The collection is of high quality items, many of which must be pre-colonial.
