Bob Bell
Bob Bell was a distingushed American archaeologist took an interest in New Zealand archaeology in the 1950s. He investigated the potential for the use of dendrochronology and worked on archaeological sites with Roger Duff at Claverley and at Papatowai with Michael Trotter and Les Lockerbie.
