Maunagkiekie is the largest pa in the Auckland volcanic field. Cornwall Par covers some of the cone. It has an exellent visitor centre which explains the Maori hisotry of the cone.
Archaeologists with an involvment with the cone include Aileen Fox and Geoff Fairfield
