Rod Clough
Background
Rod Clough is a senior archaeologist and Director of Clough & Associates Ltd, a Heritage Consultancy set up in 1995 to offer services relating to cultural heritage management. Prior to establishing the consultancy he was employed by the University of Auckland (1987-1994), lecturing and researching in historic and pre-contact archaeology in New Zealand and the Pacific. This followed 10 years at the University of London, during which time he worked as a research fellow, research assistant, part-time lecturer and materials science consultant. He is a member of the Historic Places Trust, ICOMOS and a council member of the New Zealand Archaeological Association.

- MA (Hons) Anthropology (Auckland)
- BA Psychology (Auckland)
Previous Experience
Rod has over 30 years experience of archaeological fieldwork, including survey and excavation work in New Zealand, Europe and North America. He has organised and directed many of the projects.
