Excavation Ephemera

Before the days of the internet it was quite common for projects and excavations to have produced pamphlets explaining what the project was about. These were used to give to land owners and the interested public to further the cause of the project and of archaeology.

Today of course the need is met by news groups, blogs, web pages and facebook pages.

Here are a few of the pamphlets:

Les Groube 1964 Anthropology Dept. University of Otago
Foss Leach, Helen Leach 1969 Anthro Dept. University of Otago
Foss Leach, Anthro Dept. University of Otago. Contains a reprint from the Journal of the Royal Society of New Zealand 11:1, 1981
Michael Trotter 1974 Canterbury Museum
Michael Trotter 1975 Marlborough Historical Society and Marlborough Sounds Maritime Park Board
Michael Trotter 1977 Marlborough Sounds Maritime Park Board
Michael Trotter and Beverley McCulloch 1979 Kaikoura Coastal Reserves Board
Beverley McCulloch and Michael Trotter 1980 New Zealand Historic Places and Canterbury Museum
