Tairawhiti Museum (Gisborne)
A Museum and Art Gallery for East Cape / Poverty Bay. New displays, opened in 2009 have lots of archaeological content.
For marine archaeologists there is the wheelhouse salvaged from the Star of Canada wreck of 1912 - a great piece of maritme history.
