Griffiths Gordon

Gordon Griffiths

Griffiths was a warehouseman with a strong interest in archaeology. He was a collector of Maori artefacts at one stage displaying them in a local pioneer hall, along with a catalogue (Samson 2003:111). Much of his collection was bequeathed to the South Canterbury Museum but they passed most of it to the Otago Museum (Samson 2003:161).
